Oil Price Increase?

Currently Indonesian people are waiting and worried about fuel oil increase.
At this moment, price of world oil is $125 per barrel.

What will be happen for tomorrow and the next following day?
Most of Indonesian people “shout” to decrease oil price.

Not only that case, I feel that current oil price is already expensive, and then it is increased…
I can not imagine that…..

I understand that government has subside billions for this.
As far as I know about KE (Knowledge Economy) of this situation is rather difficult to implement since the Indonesian people are below average of economy growth.

What do you suggest for government and Indonesian people?

Since May 24, 2008.. premium increase to be Rp. 6000,- from Rp. 4500,-
Many demonstration done by people about this.
What do you think about this?

I fully agree with Gordon. Actually as one of the oil resources owner, Indonesia should enjoy the increasing of the oil price. It was mismanagement that impact our stability of economy now. Hopefully, Government can solve this problem promptly

It’s so tragic I think! Indonesia is rich country which has lots of natural resources such oil. We have sources of oil in Aceh, Java and Papua. In a logical way, if the world oil price increase, Indonesia should be richer because we have many oil resources! But why we should suffer of the increasing of oil price??
It is because of the management error of the “new order” government. Indonesia has oil resources but does not able to produce the oil itself. Our country sold the resources to to another country such America. It means that we are not independent country, we are still colonized because almost our resources owned by other country
